Privacy Policy

clipfarmer is video software that runs on the computer of the person using it. It prepares short vertical clips and posts them to that person's own TikTok account. It has no accounts and no sign-up, and the only person whose data it handles is the operator running it. This policy describes what it stores and where.
There is no clipfarmer server. The software runs entirely on the operator's own machine, and this website is documentation — it collects nothing, sets no cookies, and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or analytics.
What clipfarmer stores
- TikTok access and refresh tokens for the single account the operator has authorised. Stored on the operator's own computer, used only to upload video to that account.
- Basic account information returned by TikTok — open ID, username, nickname, avatar, and the account's own posting settings. Used to display which account is connected, and to respect that account's posting preferences.
- Video files, transcripts and captions created by the operator, stored in a working directory on the operator's own computer.
What clipfarmer does not do
- It does not collect data about anyone other than the operator.
- It does not read, collect, or store data about TikTok viewers, followers, or commenters. It holds no permission that would let it.
- It does not use analytics, advertising, telemetry, or tracking of any kind.
- It does not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties.
- It does not transmit data to any server operated by clipfarmer, because there is none.
Where data goes
The only external service clipfarmer sends data to is TikTok, and only to perform actions the operator has initiated: refreshing an access token, querying the connected account's own information, uploading a video, and checking that upload's status.
Separately, ingesting a video downloads it — and its chat replay — from the platform it is hosted on, and generating captions, ranking candidates or writing header lines calls a language model. When that model runs locally, as it is designed to, none of that traffic leaves the machine.
Retention and deletion
Tokens and files are kept locally until the operator deletes them. Deleting the local token store removes clipfarmer's access immediately. Deleting a job's working directory removes that job's video, audio, transcript and renders. Videos already posted to TikTok are governed by TikTok's own policies and can be deleted from within the TikTok app.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time from TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions. Revoking immediately invalidates the stored tokens.
Children
clipfarmer is not directed to children, and is not accessible to anyone other than the operator who installed it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
