Terms of Service

1. What clipfarmer is

clipfarmer is video software that runs on the computer of the person using it. It takes long-form video that person has the right to use, cuts short vertical clips from it, adds subtitles and captions, and — with their authorisation — uploads those clips to their own TikTok account.

2. Who may use it

clipfarmer is installed and run by a single operator, for their own accounts. It is not offered as a hosted service, has no registration, and creates no accounts. Access to a TikTok account is granted only by that account holder, through TikTok's own authorisation screen, and can be revoked by them at any time from TikTok's app permission settings.

3. Content and rights

The operator is solely responsible for the content clipfarmer produces and posts, including holding the necessary rights and permissions for any source material used. clipfarmer does not supply, license, or host content of its own — it processes files the operator provides, in the same way any video editor would.

4. Use of TikTok

Content posted through clipfarmer is subject to TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. clipfarmer adds no watermark, logo, or promotional branding to content it uploads, and it posts only to the account the operator connected.

5. Acceptable use

clipfarmer must not be used to post content the operator does not have the right to post, to impersonate anyone, to post to an account without its holder's authorisation, to post automatically or unattended in a way that circumvents human review, or in any way that breaches TikTok's terms or applicable law.

6. No warranty

clipfarmer is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It may fail, produce unexpected output, or stop working if a third-party service changes. The operator uses it at their own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author of clipfarmer is not liable for any damages arising from its use, including lost content, removed posts, or suspended accounts.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated; the effective date above will change when they are.
